Anode tinning system
Penta anode tinning line is a fully automated tinning line for copper anode holders.
Automating the tinning process speeds up the production of anodes, standardizes quality and reduces health hazards for employees. The copper anode holders are first chemically cleaned. In another station, the copper is then prepared for tinning with a water/flux solution. The copper brackets are tinned at a temperature of 300°C in a solder bath. The tinned brackets are then safely discharged over an output table for further processing. The system is operated via a terminal with a color display. All parameters, production processes and visualizations are presented here in a user-friendly manner. A network with LAN connection is available.

The entire system is divided into 5+1 individual components with overall dimensions of: 7,500 x 2,100 x 2,510 mm

Wire tinning plants
With our wire tinning plant, high-frequency cables with copper braiding can be tinned in a continuous process. This ensures optimum shielding of the cables. The systems consist of a pre-cleaning station, a heated tin bath with circulation pump and a blow-off and cooling unit. Electrical control of all functions ensures reliable and uniform application of the tin.

The focus in the development of the wire tinning systems was on good efficiency. The systems can be operated at a maximum throughput speed of 40 meters per minute. Of course, the systems also meet our standards in terms of user-friendliness, safety and durability. The first systems were delivered to the Nuremberg and Shanghai sites of the Nexans Group in 2005 and are still in operation.

Storage ovens
Our electrically heated box ovens are loaded from above. The opening and closing of the lid is assisted by gas pressure springs. The temperature of the oven can be regulated up to a maximum of 300 °C. The ovens are supplied as standard in the dimensions shown below, but each oven can be customized according to the customer's individual requirements.

Protective cells
These protective cells serve as an insulation cage. They are made of galvanized steel (S235JR) to ensure high conductivity and good corrosion protection. The grid elements are easy to dismantle. For additional protection, polycarbonate panes are screwed onto the inside of the grids. This serves as tamper protection and also prevents the ingress of small parts. The protective cells are supplied in the dimensions shown below as standard, but we are also happy to manufacture them to customer specifications.
